Local health organizations go pink for breast cancer awareness month
Some in the Lawrence community painted the town pink on Thursday night to raise awareness about breast cancer and promote women’s health. “Almost everyone I’ve talked to has been touched by cancer on some level,” said Jamie Flynn, Lawrence Resident.

Community organizations looking for volunteers
With the holidays approaching, different community organizations in the Bronx are looking for more volunteers. Grid Alternatives is a nonprofit that brings solar power to low-income communities. Volunteers not only learn how to install solar panels, they
